Anomaly is an entirely volunteer-run, locally-produced film festival. All sponsorship dollars, ticket sales, and donations go directly towards putting together the absolutely best genre film festival we can, and supporting our year-round programming and events! Anomaly is small, scrappy, and all funds go directly into making a fantastic locally-focussed genre film festival, good for the greater Rochester community, but please note that Anomaly is not a not-for-profit organization. None of our organizers take a salary, stipend, or “payout” on festival profits: every cent goes right back into the festival’s production or towards year-round programming and genre-film-based events.
