GENERAL Q'S
What are genre films?
“Genre films” refer to movies outside the realms of purely “comedy” or “drama.” See our About page for a short video and description.
Where do I park?
See our Venues page for parking options for both the festival and event locations.
Are the films at Anomaly appropriate for children?
No. Most (if not all) of our films are R-rated or equivalent, so leave the kiddies at home. If you think your teens can handle it, viewer discretion is advised.
TICKETS
Do I need to print out my tickets?
No, you can present your Eventbrite ticket on your phone. As long as we can scan the barcode, you’re good. See the “Individual Tickets” section of our Tickets & Passes page for more information.
Can I pay cash to purchase tickets?
Yes, at the door. The Anomaly website is currently a plastic-only experience.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes, if available. Payment by credit/debit cards, and cash.
What if a screening is sold-out?
In the event of a sold-out screening, a standby line will be formed for late entry. Full Festival and Single Day Passholders are guaranteed seating up until the screening’s published start time (so be sure to arrive early!). After a screening’s start time, the standby line will be allowed to purchase tickets and admitted — first-come, first-served — until theater capacity.
I can’t attend all 3 days. Can I share my Full Festival Pass with a friend?
Sure! One pass is good for one admission per screening or event, so if you want to use a Full Festival Pass on Saturday, and your friend wants to use it Sunday, that’s fine by us. (1 pass = 1 admission.) Obviously: a single day pass can only be used for admission on the one day of that pass.
