Why Don’t You Just Die!

A Bloody-Bonkers Action Comedy

Young thug Matiev knocks of the door of nondescript Moscow apartment with a hammer in his hand and murder on his mind. He’s arrived with the intention of killing his girlfriend Olya’s father, Andrei, at her request. But when it turns out Andrei is a brutish crooked detective, he’s not prepared to go down without a fight. Soon all hell breaks loose, in a bloody, chaotic battle to the death.

Kirill Sokolov’s off-the-wall action-comedy is a gory, darky funny morality tale, and what you might get if you recast the characters of an “Itchy and Scratchy” cartoon and replaced them with a crew of angry Russians. Mayhem and carnage wrapped up in a bloody, vodka-soaked package.
